This traditional Scandinavian snowflake pattern works really well on these simple knitted mats, coasters and table runner. I chose to use Rowan Felted Tweed  in two colours – brown and cream – and made some of the mats and coasters in brown with a cream snowflake, and others in cream with a brown one. A simple moss stitch edging keeps the mats, coasters and runner flat, so that the edges do not curl.
