Hello!

I have to confess it has taken me rather a long time to get my own website, but now that I have, I am hoping to keep in contact through it with all those knitters who enjoy knitting my designs and are keen to be able to access the books and patterns direct that I have worked on with my publisher, Susan Berry (berrypublishing.co.uk) to make purchases via PayPal.

And, for those of you who don’t know much about me, let me just say that I have been working as a hand-knitting designer for many years, firstly with a company called Artwork and latterly as senior designer with Rowan (now owned by Mez Crafts), and that I am passionate about knitting.

My greatest love in knitting is, first and foremost, working with yarns that knit up beautifully, wash well and feel good to knit with and, secondly, creating knit designs that are eminently wearable but also special – ideally designs that will stand the test of time and become favourite heirloom pieces that you wear and wear again.
